Counselling Philosophy
My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that the professional relationship we build together is the most important aspect of healing. I strive to create a space where you can feel seen, heard, and understood—without judgment. I bring humour and authenticity into my work. My goal is to empower you to explore your emotions, break free from limiting beliefs, and live with more authenticity and confidence.
In my practice, I offer a range of specialized services to address various concerns, including anxiety, phobias, weight stigma, body image issues, disordered relationships with food and physical activity, crisis intervention, thoughts of suicide, couples therapy, and relationship challenges. I offer virtual or phone counselling to individuals throughout Alberta or in person counselling from my Calgary office.

A note on fees: My standard fee is 235 per hour, in line with the recommendation of the Psychological Associations of Alberta. However, I believe high quality therapy should be accessible to everyone regardless of income. I offer a limited number of spots available for clients with a smaller budget for mental health services. I offer a sliding scale based on income and insurance coverage to clients who request it.
