Body Image and Disordered Eating Counselling
Body image concerns and difficult relationships with food can have a significant impact on mental and physical health. Resources that focus on this area are limited, which is why I am passionate about this area. I hope to be able to help you navigate social narratives and your history around body size to build a healthier relationship with your body.

Trauma Counselling

Early childhood experiences and long-term relationships can shape how we perceive the world and relate to others. Complex and attachment trauma can stem from family, religion, friends, and relationships, and can make the world feel unsafe. I am passionate about creating a therapeutic space where it is safe to sit with and process emotions that can feel overwhelming, to heal the parts that need healing, and create an intentional life, rather than one rooted in reactionary emotions.
Anxiety and Phobias
Anxiety & Phobias are common issues that many individuals face! They can start to feel like they are taking over. Sometimes the ways that we try to fight against or avoid our fears end up making our anxiety worse in the long run. Through our work together we can work with your anxiety system to help your life feel under control again.

Coping with Chronic Pain
Living with chronic pain affects far more than the body. It can shape your mood, your energy, your sleep, and your sense of who you are. Over time, the constant effort to “push through” can lead to exhaustion, frustration, and even grief for the parts of life that feel harder to access. Whether from a visible or invisible, chronic pain can make everyday tasks feel overwhelming and can strain relationships, work, and confidence. The impact is real, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. Therapy can offer support, validation, and practical tools to help you cope, reclaim joy, and reconnect with the parts of life that matter most.

Queer, Gender, and Neurodivergent Affirming
We are committed to being queer, gender, and neurodivergent affirming in our practice. This dedication that every individual feels seen, respected, and valued for who they are. We strive to create an inclusive environment where diverse identities and experiences are celebrated, fostering a sense of belonging for all. Together, we work towards empowering everyone to embrace their authentic selves.
Walk & Talk Counselling
For some people, sitting face-to-face in an office can feel intense. Walk and talk sessions offer a different way to engage in therapy—side-by-side, in a more relaxed and natural setting.
Movement can help:
-
Ease anxiety
-
Support emotional processing
-
Make it easier to open up

*Walk-and-talk sessions can introduce additional risks that need to be carefully considered. To ensure this approach is suitable, we will always start with an initial office session to discuss potential concerns and evaluate any additional risks involved. This way, we can make informed decisions that prioritize your well-being and comfort. Speak to Kelsey if this is something you are interested in.
